September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Take a moment to do something for kids who are battling cancer, or those who lost their fight with cancer. This disease is very nasty and ugly. The treatments that these kids go through is horrible. What’s worse is that these kids who get chemotherapy treatment for their cancer often have what’s called delayed effects. This includes learning delays, other health problems that are caused by the chemo drugs as well as the chance of a secondary cancer developing in their body from the chemotherapy. Support the kids by supporting organizations that help these kids. Don’t let these kids go through their journey alone!
